El Freaky is one the most prominent DJ collectives from Colombia. A sound and visual experience with a shocking live show that explores different party music from around the world. Their sounds belong to the Colombian and Caribbean folk music, incorporating them into the Global Bass movement.
Through their short but rapid rise El Freaky has already played the United States, France, England, Spain, Reunion Island, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Peru and Colombia where they were born and raised. The band made waves performing in SXSW, Glastonbury, Rock Al Parque, and this summer will see them perform for the first time in New York's Summer Stage.
2018 is set to be a very important year for El Freaky with the release of their album in September through major label Universal. The new record will be featuring collaborations with Shaggy & Jowell y Randy, Juanes, De La Ghetto, and some Latin Hip Hop Collaborations with: Akapellah, AL2 (Los Aldeanos), and Alí & Slow from Chocquibtown. The first single titled “NMF” will be released July 13th & features: Afro Bros, Apache, Feid, Toby Letra & Stanley Jackson.
The band will also be featured in the soundtrack for the upcoming Colombian film, "We Are The Heat” directed by Jorge Navas, focused on the local street and Afro culture in Colombia’s Pacific coast and with a soundtrack curated by some of of Colombia's elite musicians. El Freaky is at the forefront of a rich new genre that fuses Hip-Hop, Salsa, Dancehall and modern beats.

El Freaky’s music is also currently featured in two TV commercials for FIAT and AT&T that started airing in May 2018.

They performed a blistering set in Glastonbury alongside Florence & The Machine, warmed up for Thievery Corporation, and Diplo who also featured them in his BBC1 show Diplo & Friends, Justin Bieber and Grammy Award winning Calle 13. El Freaky was chosen by NIKE to represent their image in Colombia.
